Awesome Amp with much power. Good quality sound all around and compact. Give much bass and very powerful. Quality of AMP seems really well built.

JL Audio was founded in 1975 by James Birch and Lucio Proni. They used the first letter of each of their names, to form a company name, hence "JL." Their first products were home speaker systems as well as home speaker kits.

Garmin announced on Sept. 20 the acquisition of JL Audio, a privately-held U.S. company that designs and manufactures audio solutions, including speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers and other audio components for marine, aftermarket automotive, powersports, home and RV customers.

JL Audio is a smaller company that manufactures automotive and Marine speaker systems and high performance powered sub woofers. JBL is a part of Harman International which is itself now a part of Samsung. JBL manufactures a wide variety of speakers and electronics for residential, commercial and pro audio applications.
